Body Arts and Science (BASI) Teacher Training Comprehensive Course

Mind and Body Wellness Studio hosts the Body Arts and Sciences International (BASI) Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training course as well as BASI Matwork Teacher Training Course founded By Rael Isacowitz. BASI Is recognized internationally for setting the highest standards in pialtes education.

The BASI Comprehensive Pilates Teacher Training Course consists of 12 Modules which include lectures and practical experience on apparatus. The following are requirements of the program:

Attendance of all 12 modules
Personal study outside of the intensive weekends
Examination process including written assignments, practical test out and teacher test out
Up to 100 personal practice hours
Up to 100 hours of observation
Up to 200 hours of apprentice teaching

BASI 12 Module Course Dates starting in February 2012:

Module 1 - 2/4 12pm-7pm
Module 2 - 2/5 9am-4pm
Module 3 - 3/3 12pm-7pm
Module 4 - 3/4 9am-4pm
Module 5 - 3/10 12pm-7pm
Module 6 - 3/11 9am-4pm
Module 7 - 3/24 12pm-7pm
Module 8 - 4/14 12pm-7pm
Module 9 - 4/15 9am-4pm
Module 10 - 4/21 12pm-7pm
Module 11 - 4/22 9am-4pm
Module 12 - 5/19 12pm-7pm

The BASI Pilates Matwork Teacher Training requires half day attendance during the first 6 modules and test out at the end of the course. The following are requirements of the BASI Matwork program:

Attendance of 6 modules
Personal study outside of the intensive weekends
Examination process including written assignments, practical test out and teaching test out
up to 60 personal practice hours
Up to 20 hours of observation
Up to 20 hours of apprentice teaching
