
Gail was hired as an aerobic instructor and fitness trainer in the early 1980’s and received her training by some of best instructors such as Karen Voight, Douglas Brooks, Candice Copeland and Petra Kobler. She has been teaching in the health & fitness industry as a personal trainer & private contractor for over 28 years. She offers a wide variety of services; breathe awareness, specialty population such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, back rehabilitation and obesity. Classes include; children's & senior fitness, hi-lo, step, funk, body conditioning and weight training.
Since the late 1980’s, Gail has worked at the Pierpont Racquet Club holding multiple positions and responsibilities from Club Management to Director in Fitness & Aerobics, Human Resources and Membership.
In 1998, Gail found Pilates. Immediately she knew this unique form of movement is what she had always been searching for. In 2001, she was introduced to Rael Isacowitz and Body Arts & Science International (BASI). In 2002, she achieved her Pilates Certification in the BASI Full Comprehensive Course. She has met and attended workshops with Pilates Elders; Kathy Grant Romana Kryzanowska,, Ron Fletcher, Lolita San Miguel and Mary Bowen. She has had privates pilates sessions with elders Romana Kryzanowska and Mary Bowen. In 2005, Gail received her Gold Member Pilates Certification under the Pilates Method Alliance.
In 2002, she purchased the Pilates Studio, Mind & Body Wellness Studio Inc. In 2003, she opened a sister studio over-looking the ocean, Mind & Body at the Pierpont.
Since 2003, Gail has been affiliated both as an assistant and host to the Body Arts and Science International Certification program at her studio. In 2008, she achieved the honor of becoming a Junior Faculty member for BASI, teaching the BASI course at Mind & Body Wellness

Gail’s love for exercise has given her the opportunity to share and help many to achieve their own personal levels of health and well-being. She continues her post-graduate education keeping all required credits current for the following certifications:
